Meenakashi+Rohit Wedding Trailer

I’m excited to kick this beautiful weekend off with some color, vibrancy, emotion, and tradition with Meenakashi+Rohit’s beautiful wedding at The Sagamore in Lake George, NY!

The Hindu wedding ceremony is based on traditions and rituals originating six thousand years ago from the Vedas, the Sanskrit books of knowledge that form the foundation of Hinduism. Each part of the ceremony usually spread over several day are filled with color and meaning, from the Baraat to the Ashirvaad.

It was truly amazing being able to capture this Lake George wedding over several days, and exploring the many aspects and celebrations that go into each carefully planned part, with everything culminating into a magnificent celebration on the final night at their Sagamore wedding in Lake George.

Special thanks go to Rose Events, who we’ve been killing it with for 6 years of weddings now, and The Sagamore where we are at a ton this Summmer!

Heidi+Matt at The Sagamore, Lake George

Happy Monday everyone, and I cannot wait to share this amazing wedding at The Sagamore! When I first met with Heidi and Matt I knew right away they had style, taste, and we were going to have a ton to work with when we arrived at the wedding. I have to give huge props to Heidi though, she really nailed the entire weekend from the rehearsal to the last dance. The details, the decor, her Vera Wang dress, and she even must have called in a couple favors to get some amazing light for me :) I hope you enjoy the images below!

Yes that’s a 2nd dress you see in the background…. we know that’s a good sign for us to go have some fun.

Having a gorgeous bride always helps!

Matt has a little something to say about that as well… another hot C+W couple

Setting up a first meeting is always really fun to watch

The parasol Heidi snagged last minute was a great addition. Not only did it look great in pictures but actually came in super helpful with that crazy bright sun. Turn harsh sun into beautiful light…

Outdoor ceremonies right on the lake are incredible. The Sagamore weddings can’t be beat.

Robin from Fine Affairs really helped Heidi knock it out of the park – the room looked gorgeous!

These little favors were awesome

Surroundings Floral always makes the room come alive

Even the lanterns that hung during the dances looked great and totally different

I’m a big fan of the bride+groom saying a little something at their wedding. I know Alisha+I grabbed the mic during our dinner to thank people and to share some thoughts and feelings… it’s a classy touch.

People were ready to get ballin on the dancefloor though!

A little shout out to all the ladies that kept Heidi going all night, what a fun crowd.

Even though I loved her Vera, this cute little Mori Lee was a lot of fun for sunset portraits. I thought Heidi absolutely ROCKED it. This was the Clark+Walker Studio facebook page teaser

We also had a rockin photobooth going that evening!! I love how Heidi ordered a backdrop that matched her linens and decor perfectly.

Thank you both so much for having us at your wedding!!

Wendy+Tony Inn at Erlowest Wedding Trailer

There is just so much to love and say about this couple. Wendy is a rockstar bride and everyone just fell in love with these two from the get go. I don’t remember having so much fun at a wedding. Great cast of vendors, Shannon from Wedding Planning Plus, Make Me Fabulous and DJ Mike Garrasi. This was a highlight to an already amazing season.

If you missed their photo blog, you have to check it out.

We were at Silver Bay YMCA in Lake George with Jessie and Greg for this amazing wedding. You might remember their previous blog. I was first taken back on how big the property was. Numerous cabins, docks, tennis courts, it really opened up once your came in. We couldn’t even locate the bride when we first arrived. We had to stumble on to the bow and arrow range, where we found the groom, laying waste to bales of hay with paper targets on them. I knew it was going to be a pretty relaxing day for filming a wedding. TS Ensemble was there to get the dance floor moving. And all the children came in to show the adults how to break it down on the dance floor.

I’m really excited to share this trailer with Jessie and Greg. Congratulations and thank you for having us.

Danielle+William (wedding trailer)

Rain won’t ruin a wedding.
It seemed like for a couple weeks in a row we had a bit of rain on the weekends. And every time we get out there and film a wedding in the rain, we come away with some spectacular footage. This is mainly for two reasons. One, we have some fantastic brides that don’t mind a little rain, and two, we have videographers and photographers that don’t mind getting a little wet. I also knew we would be getting the shot because Tracey Buyce Photography was in the house. I’ve worked with Tracey before in the rain, and there is no stopping for the rain to nail that perfect shot, she is going to get it every time. And being at The Sagamore there were plenty to get.
Bagpipes played through the foggy streets. People danced the night away, and no one seemed to be bothered by the weather. It was a perfect wedding on a perfect day.
