You maybe remember this fun Phish loving couple from the engagement session we did in the dead heat of Summer at SPAC in Saratoga Springs!

We joked that their engagement session was on one the hottest days of the year and their wedding one of the coldest days of the year!

Hope everyone had a great Spring Break! We’re back at it this morning with an absolutely gorgeous Glen Island Harbour Club wedding! We had both the wedding photo and video teams down in Westchester for Sarah+Tommy’s wedding. When I did the engagement shoot with these two in Central Park last Summer I knew we were going to have a lot of fun together, then Sarah gave me a glimpse of her Monique Lhuillier dress and I went from excited to giddy. Gorgeous bride, smokin dress, awesome portrait spot, and NY waterfront wedding. One of the classic Clark+Walker blog formulas :) We’re going to start off with Josh’s wedding video before we dive into the Glen Island Harbour Club wedding photos:

I’ve written a blog article before about how important it is to choose the right getting ready location – and Sarah gave us gold! Any place that has a spacious living room, with french doors, has the furniture moved, and gives us a huge bank of natural light windows… this is how we like to start our day!

I’m very excited to unveil a brand new winter wedding on the blog this morning! Leslie+John’s Franklin Plaza wedding in our hometown of Troy, NY was absolutely gorgeous. I had been looking forward to this wedding since we knocked it out of the park at our Barns of Nipmoose engagement shoot:

I knew I had a great couple to work with, literally in the backyard of C+W (you can walk to Franklin Plaza weddings from our studio). Combine that with an all-star team including Katie O Events, Make Me Fabulous, Non-Stop Music, Party with Mia, and Franklin Plaza weddings and you get a photo+video combined blog entry :)

We all know Clark+Walker somehow always ends up with the hottest brides on the block, but when we get a red head it’s on!

2012 was insane! I still can’t believe all the amazing places we have been and how many great couples we got to capture, on one of the biggest days of their lives. And now it’s all come down to this final wedding video, and I’m officially closing the books on 2012. And what better way to finish off a wedding video season then right in our backyard at Pat’s Barn, just outside Albany in Troy.

Alex and Vincent are awesome! Ok, so most all of my couples are awesome, but when they saw each other for the first time under The Egg in Albany, I knew the day was going to be filled with joy and happiness. We also got the chance to work with Matt and Leah, from Bailly Photography. I’ve been waiting for a wedding with these guys, and now I’m wishing we had more. And I can’t leave out Alex and Vincent’s wedding planner Shannon from Wedding Planning Plus. Great job as usual. You rock! And speaking of rock, Jeffrey Scott and Wade keeping the hands up all night. Thanks everyone for making this day a blast and for making their Albany wedding video incredible.
