Fall in the Adirondacks for weddings, got to love it! Though we did have some rain on and off throughout the day, it didn’t dampen the wedding at all. We still had some open windows to spend some time outside and get some fantastic shots, and Kat and Ryan really had fun hamming it up for the cameras.

For this wedding video we are at the Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid, with the ceremony at the beautiful St.Agnes church. Working alongside Mim from Juniper Events and Photographer Mary Dougherty, everything was splendid. City Rhythm even followed us up north to lay the sound down, for a kick’in party and wedding video.

It has been a little while since we got up to the Adirondacks for one of our killer Lake Placid wedding videos, so you know we were excited to be at the Lake Placid Lodge for Reina+John’s wedding. When I think of an Adirondack wedding, I think mountains, rustic details and scenic views for our video. You mix Chris-Craft boat rides and sparkler send-offs to that list and you’ll start to get a sense of this Lake Placid Lodge wedding.

The wedding was just a blast for us. We got to know John months before the wedding, and meeting Reina on the wedding day just amplified what gracious people and host the two of them are. If the views and the serenity of the Adirondacks didn’t put you in a splendid mood, Reina and John certainly did, and we can’t thank them enough for allowing us to capture that as wedding videographers. Along side photographer Rae Barnes and her husband Chris, we were able to capture some beautiful Lake Placid Lodge wedding video, and a big congratulations go out to Reina and John.

Are you ready for a stunning Lake Placid wedding that got major attention on Facebook? Anyone I know personally, getting married, I always try to convince them to get married up in Lake Placid…. So I’m always very excited to shoot up there. It’s just breathtaking……. Whiteface Lodge is an amazing place to have a wedding! Just even the drive up is special to us…. Luke and I read a while back that it was rated on Yahoo as one of the best drives in America up there on the Northway. I’ll even throw a little teaser in here…. one of the spots I saw on the side of the road I brought the couple back too later in the day ;)

Whiteface Lodge wedding photos starting off the week right! Amanda and Daniel had me up to one of my favorite places to shoot on the East Coast, the infamous Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid, NY on a gorgeous weekend in June to celebrate their wedding. Ironically enough they were married the same day Alisha and I were married 3 short years ago (short is the right term here, not long, right?). It was actually a little sentimental for me personally not only shooting on my anniversary, but just the fresh air of the mountains, being close to the water, the temperatures in the mid 70s with a slight breeze…. just felt so much like my own wedding. An absolute pleasure for me to capture these Whiteface Lodge wedding photos.
