This wedding seemed to be as far north as the city is south. We hit Lake George and still we were only half way there. Up near the top of the lake there is an 1884 built chapel sitting high on a hill, surrounded by a weathered stone wall and iron gates. It’s warm interior still with it’s original boards and windows, gives it the charm of a time past.
After the ceremony Lindsay and Brett walked down the hill and took a boat ride in classic style. It was the perfect end to a very touching and intimate service.
Shannon Whitney of Wedding Planning Plus truly planned out a spectacular event, giving the bride and groom a great Adirondack wedding. The reception was at the always gorgeous Inn at Erlowest, and was a highlight of our summer wedding season.

I want you to think back several months ago to a time when it was very cold. Now that I have you there, I want you to think back to the fabulous couple we did a video eshoot with in downtown Troy. Clark+Walker had picked up some cool new video toys and we were dying to try them out, and well, we had just the right couple to get crazy with! Enter Brigid + Steve. An awesome couple of people who’s wedding date had arrived! We blazed down to the Inn at Erlowest in beautiful Lake George, NY (one of the favorite spots of yours truly) and captured their big day!

Congratulations you guys! Thanks so much for allowing us to be with you on such a special event in your lives — and even better — allowing us to capture it for you!

There are very few things we like more than an Inn at Erlowest wedding! This afternoon we put together an inspiration board from a wedding I photographed at the Inn at Erlowest back in August. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Erlowest it’s an amazing property up in Lake George that’s truly stunning. In addition to the views of the lake from the facility, it’s also a photographers playland with landscapes, foliage, a dock, etc. I especially loved how flexible the property was because in addition to the natural grounds we also had a great room for getting ready and we even had some s’mores to eat at the end of the night (yes, brides who give me s’mores get 2 blog entries). Look for us to be doing a “Show and Tell” blog video with them in the next couple of months, but in the mean time here are some of the photos:
