Congrats to Morgan+Pete @ The Hall of Springs

Get ready to be warmed up by this hot couple, Morgan+Pete who had a Winter wedding at the Hall of Springs.

You maybe remember this fun Phish loving couple from the engagement session we did in the dead heat of Summer at SPAC in Saratoga Springs!

Screen Shot 2013-04-17 at 11.25.12 AM

We joked that their engagement session was on one the hottest days of the year and their wedding one of the coldest days of the year!

I loved this Vera Wang!

A bit artistic than normal but kinda love this photo mistake and the movement of the Vera Wang. Morgan rocked it!

Another gorgeous Clark+Walker bride!

First look time!

Even in winter we can make Hall of Springs wedding photos look damn good (who are we kidding – thanks for making us look good you two!)

The wedding ceremony was in the ballroom at the Hall of Springs

They wanted to embrace the romanticism of a winter Hall of Springs wedding – gold branches, lots of candlelight, amber lighting, the girls in fur.

It started to snow at the end of the night just a little bit it!

MaryShawn+Paul Wedding Trailer

This is a must see Hall of Springs wedding video! I am just so fortunate to have these wonderful couples, and MaryShawn and Paul were a perfect fit for C+W. You know the list: gorgeous bride, fabulous details, great venue, butta light and on camera hotness. So it’s really exciting for me to be able to take all those elements and tell a story that is unique to MaryShawn and Paul. The settings may stay the same, but the story is ever changing, and that is what makes this Hall of Springs wedding video so much fun.

And even though we shoot all over the Northeast and beyond, being close to home, and having a couple like this, just makes the wedding day so much more laid back and comfortable. I don’t know how often you fight NYC traffic, or try to find your way around Boston, but if you have, you get what I mean. Being at the National Museum of Dance for the Ceremony, and the Hall of Springs for the reception felt great. And working with our friends Amy Elizabeth, Make Me Fabulous, The New York Players, Tracey Buyce Photography and David Michael Schmidt from Renaissance Floral Design made it all the better. It’s great to be among friends.

Thank you MaryShawn and Paul for allowing us to capture your Hall of Springs wedding video in Saratoga.

Laura+Tim Wedding Trailer

This is great! We are back at one of our favorite venues, The Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs. And of course we have a fabulous couple Laura and Tim hamming it up, and being totally in love.

I can’t help but notice that I’ve had a long string of couples that just are having so much fun on their wedding day. Literally, it’s hard to find a shot where they aren’t just beaming with smiles and laughter. Completely living in that moment, falling into love at every glance. That’s what I want to capture, that’s what is so important, and what makes a wedding like this so memorable.

It is always great to be back locally in Saratoga Springs, with all the shooting we do around the Northeast. And it’s also great to see our friends as well. Working along side Tiffany Wayne made the day fun and exciting, and we all know both guest and vendor is going to have a good time when Jeffery Scott is spinning the tunes. We even got to say hi to Erin Marzilli, who was doing some fab makeup, and making our bride look amazing. Third shot in the trailer, close-up, bride. BOOM! Gorgeous.

We’re so happy you had us at your Saratoga Springs Wedding at the Hall of Springs, and a big hug and congratulations to both of you.

Swati+Mike at the Hall of Springs

Thanks to godaddy.com our website was down for a bit yesterday, but we’re back up and running! And thank goodness we are because we have an amazing Hall of Springs wedding for you this morning. Swati+Mike’s Saratoga Springs wedding was one of the most colorful and exciting events I’ve had the chance to be a part of this year. C+W’s roots began in the tri-state area where we had the chance to photograph a lot more of a variety of cultures, and I personally had a handful of Indian weddings every year. So getting to capture wedding photos of another gorgeous bride, at one of my favorite venues (Hall of Springs), while also getting back to my roots was the perfect weekend for me.

The Hall of Springs is always the perfect location for weddings, but how about for getting ready even?!

We started the wedding off with the Hindu ceremony right in the ballroom

Love this wedding photo

After the Hindu ceremony it was time for a wardrobe change

Yes I love C+W couples!!

A beautiful Christian ceremony followed

I have to admit this bridal party was a blast to hang out with all day

Then it was time to head out for some butta light!!

We didn’t have much time so we snuck right out to this great spot for wedding photos

A couple classic wedding photos to end the night

Hair/makeup: lipstick N lashes
Bridal Henna Artist – Bridget Punsalang of Aurora Mehendi
Flowers: Anthology Studio
Cake: Hall of Springs – wedding cake. Grooms hockey cake – Villa Italia

Alyssa+Bill at the Hall of Springs

Hall of Springs weddings are becoming a studio staple! We’ve now shot more Hall of Springs weddings than at any other venue. Alyssa told me from the beginning this was going to be a little bit different. When a bride tells me “We want a really simple, unfussy, non-traditional wedding. No bridal party, no bouquet tossing shenanigans, no scripted dances/introductions, just good food and a good locale to celebrate the event!” Weeeeelllllll that sounds, quite frankly, awesome. Admit it wedding pros you read that and you think no way, I only wish. I have to give Alyssa huge, huge props though because she nailed it. The Hall of Springs looked beautiful, exactly like you’d anticipate, but it was much lower key and more about close family and friends.

First time I’ve ever shot getting ready at the Hall of Springs…. LOVED it!

The shot at the left is one of my favorite Saratoga Springs wedding shots of the year!

The area by the reflecting pool had beautiful soft diffuse light for us to prance around

I know the bride planned her Hall of Springs wedding, by herself, in less than 2 months. Incredible – and obviously possible. Alyssa you rock!
