HERE IT IS!!! Our 3rd annual video contest! To start the year off in a fun way, C+W is excited to give our couples a way to show off their wedding video and at the same time, win a really cool little prize.

You have the control to decide which trailer, or trailers (yup, you can vote for more than one if you like!) are your favorite and give them your vote. Maybe you will choose your favorite because you know the couple, or maybe it reminds you of your own wedding, or maybe you just love the trailer because along with the music, it is just plain awesome. Whatever you choose to base your vote on is up to you, but be sure to have fun, enjoy, and show our couples some love!

For the prize this year, going to the trailer with the most votes, we are giving away a free Blu-Ray disk upgrade, up to 5 copies of your DVD, and free Bonus Features or Media Drive.

2012 Wedding of the Year Winner!

A massive congratulations to April+Matt, the 2012 Wedding of the Year winners!

Thank you to everyone who voted, we had over 700 votes this year shattering our previous high for blog comments in one entry. Here is the way the top 3 broke down:

April+Matt: 296
Morgan+Dave: 144
Caitlyn+Paddy: 119

Because Morgan and Caitlyn both had such a high amount (usually 100+ gets you in contention for the top prize) I’m also going to extend one 12×18 canvas to both of the couples as a thank you. 2012 has been the best year yet for Clark+Walker, and we look forward to making 2013 another homerun. So much of that has to do with the couples who hire us, allow us to share in their wedding day, and give us amazing weddings to shoot. We truly, truly appreciate the support that all of you give us.

2012 Wedding of the Year!

I can’t believe it’s here already, once again, but welcome to our 8th annual photo contest! Every year for the past 7 years we’ve held a contest in early December that allows some of our brides the chance to show off their best images, and win a nice little present to give away (or, ahem, keep) right before the holidays. Just like last year, our annual contest will be “Wedding of the Year.” We started having people vote on certain categories (like best cake), and moved to having people vote on best image of the year from a wedding… but last year and this year we’ve decided to transition this contest to Wedding of the Year. That’s right it’s not just a specific category or shot, you’re voting on the most kick ass wedding. What’s that mean to the voter? Well it’s up to you! If you like a wedding because of the couple, because our photos, because the venue, whatever reason is fine with us. There’s no right or wrong criteria for your favorite wedding, whatever wedding strikes you as the best feel free to vote for that couple. You can also vote for more than one.

For the prize this year we are giving away two 16×24 canvas gallery wraps to the wedding with the most votes. We wanted to give two so that way the couple can give one to each set of parents, or give one as a gift and keep the other.

Photos with Santa at Bloom and Bee!

Today we’re sharing a post from our friends at Bloom and Bee Portrait Studio about their new Photos with Santa experience this year for families in the Capital Region.

On Saturday, December 8th, Bloom and Bee Portrait Studio will be hosting a very special event at our studio and your family is invited to join us! We will be hosting a personal, fun and exciting holiday experience with Santa himself (minus the long lines, rushing crowds, and cliché Santa photos). This is the perfect event to join together with your best girlfriend’s family, your sister and her kids, or your good friends that live next door, on a group outing that you will remember for years to come!

Here are all of the details!

WHEN
Saturday, December 8th from 9am-3pm. When you call to reserve your slot you can request a time (slots booked every hour on the hour).

WHAT
The ultimate Santa experience for you and your children! We will be hosting hourly appointments with intimate groups of 3 families per hour to come to our studio and enjoy some special time with Santa. No long lines, rushing crowds, and cliché Santa photos. Our Santa experience includes Santa reading “’Twas Night Before Christmas”, a small gift for each child, family photo time with Santa, candid photos of your children, three 5×7’s of your favorite image, an private online gallery of your photos, and of course milk and cookies!

You’ve already seen the official announcement of Bloom and Bee Portrait Studio either on this blog, on the Bloom and Bee website, or perhaps even on the Facebook page… but now we are announcing the Grand Opening. Scheduled for Monday, August 13th the Grand Opening of our natural light portrait studio will be a family friendly celebration that’s open to all of the community. We will have:
