Michelle+Michael Wedding Trailer

I first met Michelle at her sisters wedding last year at Saratoga National. It turned out to be one of my favorites from 2011 and I was really excited when she contacted me to be apart of her wedding, this time as a part of her Canfield Casino wedding in Saratoga Springs.

Even though there was some pressure with all the success of her sisters wedding video, I didn’t feel it with this Canfield Casino wedding. Working along side Casey Connell Photography, who have a great natural approach to photographing a wedding, we were able to capture, and be creative in a collaborative effort, which was a real blast. Make Me Fabulous was there in the morning, doing their usual great work, and The Boston Naturals came in to bring the (beautiful Canfield Casino) roof down, and Michael even got behind the drums and joined in. I think this one is going to turn into one of my new favorites.

Thank you both for allowing me to video your gorgeous Saratoga Springs affair, and boy do we love Canfield Casino weddings!

Kristina+Nick’s Canfield Casino Wedding

I’m very excited to show you a crazy in love couple, Kristina+Nick, who had an amazing November day at their Canfield Casino wedding.

You may remember Kristina+Nick from their VT inspired engagement shoot.

I  love to see some flowers from one of my favorites: Fleurtacious Designs.  Day of Coordination, Katie O’ Events, made the day run smooth!

I was told this was one ballar Panerai watch! A surprise wedding gift from Kristina.

Is it tea and Jimmy Choo’s time? A very awesome Jim Hjelm to compliment.

The light was awesome in this little spot!

Make Me Fabulous always does a really great job!

Just love first looks, so emotional!

Bridemaids rockin Jim Hjelm Occasions.

Nick had an awesome sense of humor and I hope you see how funny and laid back he is in this image.

So Vintage!

Their dog, Roxie came out for a little visit.

Here is a layout design at the Canfield Casino weddings for all you future brides. Very unique!

They wanted their ceremony to be as personal as possible.  The seating for the ceremony was arranged in a circle (a great recommendation by Kris Ann), which made the small ceremony even more intimate.

Told you, really funny guy!

They used elements about themselves including using wine corks they had saved over the years as a unity ceremony, instead of sand or stones. Here guests are giving a wish to the couple on the wine corks, holding them close to their hearts.

Weddings at the Canfield Casino look incredible!

DJ Jeffrey Scott played a very special first dance for the couple!

They loved the fun Circus/antique type fonts and the carnival/circus theme and used them in their invites, menus and programs.

Thank you for allowing me to get you know you guys over the past year. It’s been really fun and I enjoyed getting to share in your Canfield Casino wedding! Love, *Wisp*.

Meet the Morgans!

Congratulations to Samantha + Brian who were married and the historic Canfield Casino on a very historic date: 10.10.10!

Samantha interviewed Brian for a job in early 2008. Brian graduated college in December of 2007 and was having a tough time finding a job; he was looking for something part time to get him through. After Samantha notifying Brian that he was not selected for the position she asked him out on a date! The rest is history!

The bride carried two special handkerchiefs – Brian’s mother Kathy gave Samantha a handkerchief that was given to her by her grandmother on her wedding day and she also carried one that belong to her stepfather’s mother.

Samantha had three pairs of shoes for one day! Fits her personality – she had a closet with over 300 pairs of shoes! This pair was my favorite.

Samantha’s grandfather birthday was 10-10 whom passed away in 2007. Samantha’s birthday was also the 10th  of June and some say 10-10-10 represents the meaning of life. I think this couple was meant to get married on 10.10.10!

Tennessee fans?

Clark + Walker always has a pleasure working with Christine Wheat and David Michael Schmidt! They help the day run smooth and the details are always flawless!

Congratulations Morgans! It was my pleasure to photograph your wedding!

Canfield Casino wedding

A little behind on the blog entries themselves but delighted no the less to show you the images of Kelly + Anthony at the Canfield Casino. We all know that it never rains on me at weddings, but I don’t always get amazing days like today! A beautiful couple, gorgeous light all day, and a really cute dress. What else could a photographer ask for?

I love this wedding dress from Lily Saratoga!

Just as much as I loved the dress, I LOVED Saratoga Arms!!! What a awesome backdrop!

congrats to Dina + Mike at the Canfield Casino

Recently I had the chance to photograph Dina and Mike’s wedding up at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs. You might remember these 2 from our e-shoot in NYC HERE

I’ve had a great time getting to know them both and had a fantastic time with them at the wedding. As soon as I arrived in the morning Dina’s family treated me like family

Literally I’m asked a handful of times per month how I get such beautiful brides… I have no idea but the streak continues!
Untitled-1dsfga

I love a little morning toast
IMG_9996

Even though the ceremony was pretty long, I honestly enjoyed it more than most church ceremonies because Dina and Mike gave me great expressions
IMG_0167

Plus the window right above their heads gave me some wicked light!

IMG_0194

I love Mike’s expression on the left and Dina’s on the right so I had to include them both

What’s that you say? It’s Mooo… huh? Moooo… what? Oh Money time! Gotcha :)

As much as I love the backlite shots and using our reflector/diffuser, I also love standing really close to a nice brick building with that late day light banking right off the huge walls
IMG_0494

I had to try to sneak in a patented relaxed bridal party shot before the light disappeared
IMG_0449

I really liked the more photojournalistic one though too honestly…
IMG_0411

The reception room looked beautiful (wait until you see the video with the flare coming through the windows…)

A little video light and some night shots to finish up an awesome wedding

Props to Chris for rocking the house with the video, to Matt Antonino for shooting with me once again, and to Dina and Mike for having us!

Dina & Mike: Luke, Chris and Matt- we arrived back home from our Italy honeymoon last evening. We eagerly checked out your website/blog (just in case) and wow did you guys deliver! We both were so excited to check out the images that you included and we cannot wait to check out the rest of the photography as well as the video. The evening went by far too quickly- wish that we could have stopped time! However, we both felt so lucky to have been able to work with each of you and to have been blessed with such a beautiful day full of family and friends. Truly an amazing experience to have all of your loved ones in the very same room and to have such a talented team vividly capture the most special and anticipated day of our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You've got skillz'....forever grateful! Dina & Mike
