Inns of Aurora Wedding

Another wedding at one of our absolute favorite places: Inns of Aurora! Usually we’re at the Inns of Aurora on sunny summer days with beautiful sunsets, but this time around we were in the snow and cold – but it was equally as beautiful.  The gorgeous rooms, crackling fireplaces, and quiant town were things that excited us when photographing this wedding. Congrats to Joanne+Andy on these Finger lakes wedding photos.

Joanne was a big fan of MacKenzie Childs Courtly Check. It was so whimsical and fun, like a grown-up Alice in Wonderland. It was very cool to see all the ribbon incorporated which Joanne got in the NYC MacKenzie Childs store.

C+W loves Claude T. Poodle also rocking a MacKenize Childs sweatshirt.

A vintage 1950′s find from NYC!

First Look at the Inns of Aurora.

Oh, so charming.

Where did we go for wedding photos? MacKenzie Childs flagship store in Aurora, NY of course! DUH!

I just loved how the couple hired special lighting crew to light up the church.

I love this sash for the reception.

Lynne+John’s Wedding Trailer

You might remember this Inns of Aurora wedding from the photo blog a few weeks ago. Now, we are excited to share the wedding video for this Aurora Inn wedding.

This is another one of those days where the rain holds off from the lake in Aurora just long enough to get everything done outside, and we thank the wedding video Gods for that. But when the storm did come, it came with a mighty wind, that made for some interesting Inns of Aurora wedding video. It was all the bride could do to hang onto her veil.

They weathered the storm with big smiles, and we are so thankful to capture those at this Aurora Inn wedding. Thanks for being so awesome guys, and congratulations.

Elizabeth+Tomasz’s Aurora Inn Wedding

Hey there everyone, it’s Andrew taking a breather from editing a billion proof images to give you all a lovely blog entry! This one comes from a little bit ago with Elizabeth+Tomasz over near the Finger Lakes at the Aurora Inn. Clark+Walker shooting another Aurora Inn wedding? Shocker I know!

I love the shoes and dress. Both understated in the best way possible.

Tomasz wrapping things up.

Elizabeth brought her sock monkey collection with her so of course we had to get the classy french one in the dress! And of course, her flowers!

Getting all strapped in and ready for the ceremony.

I love this one below, Elizabeth was a bit nervous when we showed up but that changed quickly!

Final inspection!

Off to the ceremony, where there were roses everywhere.

The wedding ceremony set up by the lake was gorgeous

Their ‘something old’ was the cake topper. First time I’ve seen that!

The sunset was gorgeous and made for some really fantastic photos inside the Aurora Inn itself.

And of course, the sunset made for some of our signature butta light wedding portraits.

Fun little series out front before the sun fully set.

Everyone loves the serve yourself sweets bar, me included!

Thank you both so much for allowing us to be your Aurora Inn wedding photographers!

Lynne+John’s Inns of Aurora wedding photos

Congrats to Lynne+John who got had another fabulous wedding at the Aurora Inn. Another day, another sick set of wedding photos at the Inns of Aurora right?!

Lynne+John met in Connecticut during their orthodontic/prosthetic residencies. John proposed last July at the Grand Canyon for Lynne’s birthday.  She knew she wanted a smaller wedding (final count – 47 people) at the Aurora Inn & she just wanted the most important people in their lives to have the best time! Mission accomplished!

Love the something blue Swarovski earrings!

How special is this hairpiece created from Lynne’s grandma’s original 1940′s wedding headpiece  (mom’s side). Both women are now deceased – so it was important for the bride to have a part of them with her.

The porches at the Inns of Aurora make for some gorgeous soft light

Lynne told me it was really hard to capture John in a ‘real smile’. CW was on a mission to do so!

First look time!

Talk about beautiful grounds to create wedding photos!

We had these crazy wicked bad storms off the Lake at the Inns of Aurora for this wedding. It rained all evening but man, did these storms make one heck of a sky to photograph with!

Great job with the details!

They love the fact that they love Halloween – so Lynne surprised John with a skull groom’s cake.
