Today’s wedding is one of my favs of the year, so get comfortable because this Gedney Farm wedding blog entry is long! Everything started last year when I drove down to NYC to do Star+Jim’s engagement photography. Not only was the session a blast, but I really enjoyed an awesome evening together over dinner and drinks afterward. My kind of shoot!
Fast forward to this summer, and between an already awesome couple, a couple cool venues in Mepal Manor and Gedney Farm, and Jessica Herberger from Experience Events – I knew this was going to be a day that is blog heaven.
We arrived at Mepal Manor in the early afternoon for the getting ready. It’s obvious Mepal Manor weddings are gorgeous, from the time we started up the gravel driveway.

I actually hung back instead of staying up front this wedding and I loved being able to capture these moments

Once we finished up everyone hopped on some shuttles and headed over to the Gedney Farm for the wedding reception
This was my first wedding at the Gedney Farm and I hope I’m able to come back!
Yes I know we already have some beautiful photos of our couple… but you didn’t think I was going to pass up the butta light did you?! Pssshhh yea right!! We headed out in a gorgeous field behind Gedney Farm that was perfect for wedding photography.
I think I could shoot at Gedney Farm wedding pretty much every weekend
