Lynne+John’s Wedding Trailer

You might remember this Inns of Aurora wedding from the photo blog a few weeks ago. Now, we are excited to share the wedding video for this Aurora Inn wedding.

This is another one of those days where the rain holds off from the lake in Aurora just long enough to get everything done outside, and we thank the wedding video Gods for that. But when the storm did come, it came with a mighty wind, that made for some interesting Inns of Aurora wedding video. It was all the bride could do to hang onto her veil.

They weathered the storm with big smiles, and we are so thankful to capture those at this Aurora Inn wedding. Thanks for being so awesome guys, and congratulations.

April+Matt’s Turning Stone wedding!

We’re so excited to keep the holiday week going with one of our favorite venues – another one of our Turning Stone weddings! You probably remember April+Matt from their awesome Skaneateles engagement photos. These two are one of my most fun couples of the year, and it’s been such a joy being around them and watching them enjoy the process. We had the boy band back together (Luke, Kevin, Josh, and Zach) and brought our A game.

Another beautiful Clark+Walker bride (no it never gets old)

Love this series!

I loved the church we walked into

After the ceremony we headed out for some Fall portraits

Absolutely stunning colors

BAM

Time for the buuuuuutta light that can happen at Turning Stone weddings

We know all the great wedding photo spots at Turning Stone

The ballroom for Turning Stone weddings looks beautiful. I especially love the detail in the lower left corner where April had wallet sized photos printed of all the guests with their table number on the back. SUCH a cool idea.

Thank you both once again for having us at your Turning Stone wedding. It’s been such a pleasure getting to become friends with you both!

Laura+Tim Wedding Trailer

This is great! We are back at one of our favorite venues, The Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs. And of course we have a fabulous couple Laura and Tim hamming it up, and being totally in love.

I can’t help but notice that I’ve had a long string of couples that just are having so much fun on their wedding day. Literally, it’s hard to find a shot where they aren’t just beaming with smiles and laughter. Completely living in that moment, falling into love at every glance. That’s what I want to capture, that’s what is so important, and what makes a wedding like this so memorable.

It is always great to be back locally in Saratoga Springs, with all the shooting we do around the Northeast. And it’s also great to see our friends as well. Working along side Tiffany Wayne made the day fun and exciting, and we all know both guest and vendor is going to have a good time when Jeffery Scott is spinning the tunes. We even got to say hi to Erin Marzilli, who was doing some fab makeup, and making our bride look amazing. Third shot in the trailer, close-up, bride. BOOM! Gorgeous.

We’re so happy you had us at your Saratoga Springs Wedding at the Hall of Springs, and a big hug and congratulations to both of you.

Lindsay+Marc Wedding Trailer

What happens when you plan every detail out, organize for months, and mother nature throws you a curve ball and your left without power for the reception? Well that is exactly what happened at this Equinox wedding in Vermont, and Lindsay explanes it best in this advice she offered to future brides.

“I can remember throughout the planning process we talked about what could go wrong and you try so hard to plan for any event. But when it comes downs to it, it’s about the marriage of two people who love each other more than anything – and their friends and family there to celebrate it. I never thought we’d lose power for the whole night (it didn’t come back on until we were leaving the ballroom), something we could never have planned. But it didn’t matter (although we did panic for a little when we didn’t think the band could play – they are too amazing to miss!), our friends and family were there and no matter what we were going to have the party of our lives…and we were married!!! So, all I want to share with brides and grooms-to-be – never forget what you’re there to do that day and the people you’re with will make it the most amazing celebration! Enjoy every second of the planning process and the day – it goes by in the blink of an eye and if you’re lucky enough to have Clark+Walker they’ll capture every moment so you can always remember the happy day :)”

We couldn’t agree more.

Leigh+Justin at the Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club!

Very excited to share today’s gorgeous wedding photos, and not just because it reminds me of when we had leaves on the trees. Leigh and Justin threw an awesome wedding at the Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club and we were honored to be a part of it. This had our usual mix of Clark+Walker ingredients… gorgeous people, stylish details+decor, fun crowd, and beautiful backdrops for wedding photos.

It’s always great working with amazing bridesmaids

Leigh is drop dead gorgeous

These are the kind of backdrops that make the Northeast famous for it’s Fall season

A little first look action

You know it’s Fall when it’s butta portrait time before the ceremony :)

A bridal party full of models. No literally.

Leigh’s father was a stunningly handsome gentleman that I’ve really enjoyed getting to know throughout the process

The room at the Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club looked beautiful. Leigh told me she wanted a laid-back old Hollywood elegance and I think it was absolutely accomplished (props Noraan)

It wouldn’t be a Clark+Walker wedding though without…. John Legend?!?! Ok ok so maybe this isn’t as normal as the other parts, but it was great to hear such an incredibly accomplished person perform at the wedding. Plus to be honest most times we work with more celebrated and/or well known clients we have to keep it quiet so it’s nice to be able to share with all the readers out there once in a while. Hey Josh – you’re video? No pressure.

Speaking on beautiful voices… not only is Leigh an amazingly beautiful bride, but one heck of a singer to boot

Thank you both so, so much for allowing our team to come in and capture your Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club wedding.
