Laney and Steve met while students at Syracuse University and were later engaged in Paris in front of their favorite restaurant. They celebrated with a gorgeous fall wedding in Syracuse and even asked famed Syracuse a capella group Groovestand to join in the fun by greeting guests as they arrived at the reception. Their day was full of beautiful details and even more beautiful memories and we were thrilled to join them for the fun.

Laney worked with Riki Lebied for makeup and Al Annotto from The Concept for hair. Her gorgeous dress was by Christos and had a really elegant, romantic feel that perfectly complemented all of the wedding details.

Laney and Steve’s wedding had a gorgeous, traditional appeal with the loveliest details. They chose a soft, monochromatic color palette of ivory, peach and gold to contrast with the bright vivid colors of fall in Upstate NY. Laney worked with Kim at Whistlestop Florist who created some of the prettiest flowers we’ve seen this season!

A traditional ceremony at Church of St. Michael and St. Peter started the day where the adorable ring bearer stole the guests’ hearts.

Of course, for these two lovebirds a few portraits on the SU campus were a must. The wedding party looked stunning! The bridesmaid wore chic dresses from J.Crew where Laney works at the corporate office and the guys wore traditional black tuxes.

The reception was held at The Grand Ballroom at Hotel Syracuse and was the epitome of elegance with more gorgeous flowers from Whistlestop Florist and incredible entertainment from The Jersey Joint. Laney worked with the folks at The Events Company on the decor to ensure no detail was forgotten.
