When I was down in NYC shooting for The Knot I was able to squeeze in a couple engagement shoots during the 5 free hours I had all week :) I met Elise+Dave through Alia+Rahul’s wedding (still voted #4 on the blog by the way) and we tried matching schedules around all the shoots I had going on. Fortunately for us the time we ended up picking ended up being the nicest day of the week and some of the best weather I was able to shoot in all Fall. I have shot in this area of Central Park before in the past so I wanted to try and mix it up and bring some fun elements into the shoot. I started by using the bubble guy to give us some props :)
I thought this stone wall was pretty cool too
When you have a fun couple and some killer foliage you get shots like this :)
Elise+Dave were great in front of the camera and no matter what funky poses we came up with they nailed every single one
You don’t pose moments like this though
Central Park was amazing (people were even playing volleyball in the sand with no shirts on in late Oct!)
The shot on the left is one of my favs of the shoot
As I said they were extremely comfortable in front of the camera (or at least it appeared so!)
Thanks so much you two and I know you are going to have a gorgeous wedding!
