Nancy and Erik live in Norway, so when we were coming up with ideas for their engagement shoot, we knew we had to work in a little ode to “Team USA” and “Team Norway.” It rained like crazy the day we got together, but the wetness actually helped the colors become a little more saturated and really contributed to the overall look of the shoot. We had a blast out playing in this field and along the dock. This engagement shoot is seriously one of our favorites to date!

We rescued the vintage bicycle from an old garage. It was the perfect fit with the rustic barn, open fields, and wood fences.  Erik took it for a spin before we started shooting and it was hilarious…to say that bike is on it’s last leg would be an understatement! The flags were the perfect touch, a bright pop of color and a meaningful symbol to them.
