This past weekend I had the honor of photographing Nichole+Luke’s Saratoga Springs wedding at the Hall of Springs. Honestly going into wedding weekends all of us here at clark+walker are excited because we get the chance to create something new, something fresh, and push ourselves. However when you are going to shoot at one of your favorite venues, with awesome weather, a couple that you know is going to be great to work with, and an all-star cast of professionals then you wake up borderline giddy. That was me on Saturday. As soon as Nichole told me she hired Christine Wheat to plan her wedding I knew we were going to be walking into a gorgeous event. Then I show up in the morning to have Alayne from Make Me Fabulous doing her hair+make up and one of my favorite videographers Al Woodard shooting along side me.
I loved the room they picked out at the Gideon Putnam Hotel, it was a massive suite. This shot of Nichole on the left is so cute, you can always tell once the dress gets on that it hits people that they really are getting married.
Check out this bouquet by David Michael Schmidt over at Renaissance Floral Design. We’ve worked with David the last 2 weekends in a row and he continues to blow us away.
I loved this kid’s pants and bow tie combo!
The church was beautiful and Nichole+Luke were great together
We had some beautiful light in the church and since my fabulous guest shooter Tiffany Wayne sings in the choir we had some free reign to move around
These two were great to photograph in the church!
After the ceremony we headed out for portrait in money light!
We headed downtown Saratoga for some more beautiful wedding photography
You can’t go wrong with hitting up Caroline St for pictures
Their dog was the cutest… this get’s filed away in our favorites fault right away!
What C+W wedding would be complete without a fun bridal party shot? Luckily we had an awesome crowd.
LOVE, LOVE, love the room at the Hall of Springs. It’s always the bomb but this was just amazing. Huge props again to Renaissance Floral Design for my favorite head table arrangement to date
The table cards by The Pink Orange were gorgeous and Coccadotts nailed the cake
As I said, best head table ever. I tip my hat to the couple, it takes a lot to really impress us and they did it all day on Saturday. Clifton Park Rental is always on their game and the cigar roller was a great addition (and very popular).
I have to put another room shot in here, just loved everything they did
Love this moment of them during the toasts
The Hall of Springs in Saratoga is amazing for wedding photography
As if this cake wasn’t beautiful enough, they also had an amazing dessert spread with a variety of goodies including my favorites – trio of sorbet and fresh bananas foster!
Mazel tov you to you both!
Thanks so much for having us at your wedding, and for trusting us to capture such an amazing day. It was an honor to spend our day taking wedding pictures at the Hall of Springs on such a beautiful weekend.
