Glen Sanders Mansion Wedding

There are very few things we like more than a Glen Sanders Mansion Wedding! Glen Sanders Mansion is one of the most popular wedding venues in the Capital Region and one of our favorite places to shoot. Our production manager Dawn was even married there! The Capital Region hotspot is also a place we often shoot, and we’re booked for a bunch more jobs in 2010. We’re working to bring you a show and tell blog video later this year, but in the mean time check out some of our favorite images:

I know the venue has gone through some renovations and updates over the past year and we’re really excited about sharing those with you. Here is the official write up from their website:

“The historic Mansion in Scotia has stood for over 275 years, and today welcomes those looking for a charming backdrop to their special event.

Set on the banks of the Mohawk River, the up-to-date ballroom, al fresco patio, and riverfront gazebo accommodate up to 300 guests and help make your day as perfect as you could possibly imagine.”

I have to admit, the fact that Scotia is so close to the studio makes shooting there even better for us :) In addition their official website I would also recommend checking out their blog Aisle Files. This is a blog all of us check on a daily basis as it’s a great resource for Upstate NY weddings. Plus they feature our work a lot… hey we love to see our work in many places!

Last but not least one of the reasons we love shooting at the Glen Sanders Mansion is of the great photo locations on the property. From the beautiful bridal suite (gorgeous place to get ready for the wedding) to the dock in the back (and we love our dock shots!) we have a lot to work with when we shoot there.

Thanks for checking out this blog post and we can’t wait to bring you even more soon!
