Jeanine and Derek met while attending graduate school at the University of Virginia and were married nine years later. Lucky for us, they asked us to be a part of their celebration, which took place at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown. Along with our good friends at Christine Wheat Events, they planned a beautiful wedding that was simple, elegant and timeless and we loved having the pleasure of sharing their day with them.
Jeanine wore a gorgeous set of pearls that were a gift from her father at her college graduation and her engagement ring was from Derek’s great-grandmother. It was aquamarine and also served as her something blue. Jen from Timeless Updos did all of the girls’ hair and they all looked gorgeous!
All of the beautiful flowers, white roses, lilies and pretty blue and white hydrangeas, were created by A Rose is a Rose…
Warning, cute kids ahead! Check out this adorable flower girl…
We always love to capture the look on the groom’s face as his bride heads toward him down the aisle…
We loved Jeanine’s beautiful lace dress by Victoria and the bridesmaids wore classic navy blue J.Crew dresses, which they paired with great pearls.
It’s hard not to love these two together, they’re just adorable and so obviously in love.
Jeanine and Derek celebrated with a tented reception and asked The Lily and the Rose from Saratoga Springs to cater. Kim Klopstock is an amazing chef and all the guests were raving over the food. Jeanine’s family also baked her grandmother’s famed Italian cookies for the dessert buffet – we love those family touches!
Heart and Soul with Franklin Wayne Music rocked the reception and even learned Jeanine and Derek’s first dance song just for them!
Congratulations, Jeanine and Derek! Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your amazingly beautiful wedding.
