When I was down in NY for Bridal Market Week I had the pleasure of doing a couple awesome engagement shoots.  Weather in NYC can be so hit or miss in the Fall, and for some reason Market usually brings the rain.  However for this shoot with Erika+Juston we were able to get some of the butta light.  In addition we were in one of my favorite neighborhoods to shoot, the West Village/Meatpacking area.  The streets there are great for shooting, and since the sun sets on that side of the island you catch that beautiful end of the day light better than anywhere else.

One of the best parts of shooting in NY is finding spots like this (good thing you can’t smell on the blog by the way)…

It really helps when you get a couple like this that has a blast together, and just enjoys the shoot

I’m sure I’ll get someone to ask me “what Photoshop filter did you use on this shot?” NONE. That’s straight out of camera (my blog resizing action has sharpen built in). Who needs RAW files :)
