congrats to Melissa and Kedric

I know this is hard to believe, but I was out of town for a wedding this past weekend. Shocking I realize! The bags were packed, the iPhone was re-loaded with fresh material, and Seth Godin books were tucked away for yet another plane ride. This weekend’s adventure took me to St. Louis (Alisha’s hometown) for Melissa and Kedric’s wedding. St. Louis is a fun town that I love to visit so that alone made me excited about the trip, but on top of that I did the couple’s engagement shoot several months back and knew they both had style, good taste, and good looks… and that combo = money shots.

Melissa had one of my favorite bouquets of the year so far, made by Emily of Sisters Flowers

I love the World’s Fair Pavilion in STL for a ceremony, it’s a really nice outdoor location

Just as a 411 riding in the front seat of an old Rolls Royce could not be more uncomfortable, but it’s all about taking one for the team.

This bridal party was awesome so I had them come along for some extra shots… thanks for being such good sports!

Alright the bridal party was great, and more on them later, but it’s time for the romantic shots and some one on one time

One of my favorites of the entire day

I have to get a more formalized shot of course in some butta light

Okay, no wait, this one is my favorite of the day I’ve changed my mind

The bridal party was up to the challenge yet again for some great toasts

ting, ting, ting, ting

This was one of the most original ideas I’ve seen in a long time, so huge props to whoever came up with the idea. Melissa and Kedric had been working on their first dance for a long time and put a lot of work into it, so the bridal party to bust some chops all stood up with scorecards after the dance was over. LOVE IT! What’s up with the 4 though, it was a good dance?! :)

I know this is St. Louis and not NY, but I still had to take advantage of a nice rooftop shot to cap the night

A shout out also goes to Amanda from Proposing Dreams wedding planning firm for the help, and my main man Chris for coming with me to do yet another wedding video (his video trailer below).

Kay: As the mother of the groom I am very much biased and I think the pictures were absolutely great of a very good looking couple!! You have given them beautiful visions to remember a day of love, family, friends, hopes and dreams.
