We’re finally ready to pull away the cloth, and unveil our brand new sister company – Bloom and Bee Portrait Studio. Taaaaa-daaaaa!!

This has been a labor of love for us for well over a year now, a vision that started with Alisha getting overwhelmed with requests from former brides and families in the community for photo shoots. It’s a passion Alisha has had since before we even met, but with Clark+Walker entrenched solely in the wedding market (with both branding as well as workflow logistics) we knew we needed something set up to properly handle this volume.

Bloom and Bee Portrait Studio is a warm, welcoming, family friendly natural light portrait studio. We want families to enjoy their time with us; to see what a fun, relaxing, and special experience a custom lifestyle portrait studio can provide. We’ve placed a strong emphasis on encouraging photographs with personality between the natural light, the building being a house, and having an outdoor space.

The 2,600 square foot natural light studio is located at 2123 Western Ave in Guilderland, NY. Bloom and Bee Portraits will offer indoor sessions with a variety of backgrounds and flooring options, keeping the environment natural feeling and without the intimidation of a “traditional photo studio.” We can also step outside to burn off some energy as well :) Parents are free to relax during the session with extra comfy couches, a private nursing room, refreshments, and wifi. Children will find toys, games, and most of all no large flashing lights, light stands, and cords. Appointments are scheduled at least 90 minutes apart, always, to ensure a calm and enjoyable experience. We’ve gone to great lengths to build Bloom and Bee into the ultimate portrait+family experience and we’re excited to share what we feel is a home-run with the local community.
 

In addition to the WEBSITE above, I also strongly recommend checking out our newly launched FACEBOOK PAGE as well. On our Facebook page we’ll be posting promotions, new backgrounds+props, ideas for your children’s photo session, and real samples of how families are displaying their photographic artwork. In addition it will also be the place to go to see any specials we are running – we plan on renting antique cars from time to time, or creating special sets that will be available for a limited time. Our fan page will be much more than just a static Facebook page with occasional photos. The Bloom and Bee FB page will be a central hub for local moms, the community, and everything photo and interior design related.
