Show+Tell: Aurora Inn

That’s right, our Show+Tell feature is coming back!  Usually during the months of Nov-Apr when things are a touch slower it gives us the chance to go out an do our Show+Tell features where we sit down and give you a better look into a company, place, or service that we enjoy here at C+W.  Considering Alisha and I chose to get married at the Aurora Inn, I think the venue falls under that category :)  Last year I sat down with Heather when we were over in Aurora for our wedding, and we’ve been waiting to post this for a while once we had an opening on the blog to show it.

Our wedding at the Aurora Inn was absolutely fantastic, and we’ve seen shot numerous weddings there ourselves and I know our brides have had a fantastic experience as well. The setting is incredible and Heather is one of the best people you can have at your wedding. She’s absolutely amazing at her job and brings the same vibe to work that we try to bring to the wedding day as well. Without further ado….

Kristina + Nicholas engagement session

Fall is Kristina + Nicholas favorite season. We caught the very last of the changing season a few weeks ago! In fact we drove to VT and drove BACK to New York where there was a lot more color. I’m looking to their wedding, next Fall of course!

I love engagement session where you just kinda drive around. You never know what treasures you find!

Emily+Steve Wedding Film Berkshire Style!

Now here’s a story that bears repeating. Why?  Well, it’s a Clark+Walker couple that went with both photo+film, so by default they’re going to have two blog entries anyway!  However, since their story is so cute it definitely deserves another mention!  Emily+Steve met at Camp Taconic in the Berkshires when they were kids going to summer camp.  How cute is that?  And honestly, what’s cooler than marrying your summer camp sweetheart?  Nothing!!!

So they rented out the entire camp and brought all their family and guests in for one HUGE celebration!

I now give you the Emily+Steve wedding trailer!  Enjoy!

Mary Beth + Steve @Saratoga National Golf Club

It’s always a pleasure to shoot at the Saratoga National in the Fall. And this early November wedding day the rain cleared out in the morning to create a really nice light! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much color so late in the year in Upstate NY!

Purple is Mary Beth favorite color so they  had to incorporate in the wedding of course. The bouquet looks great!

Mary Beth’s purse for the wedding was made out of her Nannie’s (Maternal Grandmother) wedding dress and decorated with her Mom’s, Aunt Eileen’s and her wedding dress as well as my first communion dress and baptismal outfit.  The purse was made by her Mom’s friend Patty Behlmer

Mary Beth and Steve met while working at an ice cream shop 10 year ago, so they thought it might be fun to name the tables after ice cream flavors!

Mary Beth and Steve went on a mini-moon right after the wedding and are planning on a honeymoon in the Summer.

Congrats you guys!
